1. Scope and purpose
1.1 What FlixFinder is
FlixFinder is a digital information and discovery platform that enables users to search, browse, filter, and interact with data relating to films, television programmes, cast members, directors, creators, and content availability across Third Party Services.
1.2 What FlixFinder is not
FlixFinder is not a streaming provider, broadcaster, cinema operator, or content owner unless expressly stated. FlixFinder does not host or transmit third party films or television programmes for playback unless a feature explicitly states that it does.
1.3 These Terms apply to all use
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service, whether you are a visitor, registered user, or subscriber, and whether you use free features, paid subscriptions, trials, experimental functionality, or evolving product offerings.
1.4 Legally binding agreement
By accessing or using the Service, you enter into a legally binding agreement with FlixFinder and agree to comply with these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Acceptance and continuing agreement
2.1 Ongoing acceptance
Your use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as they exist at the time of use.
2.2 Changes to the Terms
We may update, modify, replace, or remove any portion of these Terms at our discretion. Where permitted by law, changes may take effect immediately. Where required by law, we will provide notice in an appropriate manner.
2.3 Your responsibility
It is your responsibility to remain informed of the current version of these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Eligibility, age, and user representations
3.1 Age and legal capacity
You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You must also meet any applicable age requirements and content rating thresholds in your jurisdiction.
3.2 Your warranties
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
3.2.1 you are of sufficient age and legal capacity to use the Service and enter into these Terms
3.2.2 all information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and truthful
3.2.3 you will not misrepresent your identity, age, eligibility, or entitlement to access content
3.2.4 you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to your use of the Service
3.3 Minors and restricted access
You must not share access, data, or Account credentials with individuals below the applicable age or content rating restrictions. Any breach may result in immediate suspension or termination.
4. Accounts and registration
4.1 Account creation
Some features require you to create an Account. Registration may require contact information and other details necessary to provide the Service.
4.2 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your Account, whether authorised by you or not.
4.3 Accurate information
You must keep your Account information accurate and up to date. We may treat inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information as a breach of these Terms.
4.4 Account restrictions and enforcement
We may refuse registration, suspend access, restrict features, require additional verification, or delete Accounts at any time, with or without notice where permitted by law. This includes Accounts that are inactive, misleading, fraudulent, automated, duplicated, or otherwise inappropriate.
4.5 No retention guarantee
We do not guarantee that Account data will be retained following suspension or deletion, subject to legal retention obligations.
5. Acceptable use
5.1 Permitted use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended function.
5.2 Prohibited conduct
You must not:
5.2.1 interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
5.2.2 bypass technical limitations, access controls, paywalls, or feature gating
5.2.3 scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, or mirror data at scale without our prior written permission
5.2.4 use automation to create Accounts, generate traffic, or manipulate rankings, popularity, or presentation
5.2.5 reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or underlying models except to the extent permitted by law
5.2.6 upload malware or use the Service to distribute harmful code
5.2.7 use the Service in a way that infringes rights, violates privacy, or causes harm to us, our partners, or other users
5.2.8 use the Service for unlawful surveillance, profiling, or discrimination
5.3 Rate limiting and technical controls
We may implement rate limiting, feature throttling, and other technical controls to protect the Service and associated data sources. Attempts to bypass these controls are prohibited.
5.4 Our discretion
We may determine misuse at our discretion, acting reasonably. Enforcement actions may occur without prior notice where permitted by law.
6. Content, data sources, and accuracy
6.1 Nature of information
The Service aggregates, processes, and displays large volumes of data from internal systems and Third Party Services, including metadata and availability information.
6.2 No accuracy guarantee
We aim to provide useful information, but we do not guarantee that Content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or available. Information may be outdated, incomplete, incorrectly categorised, geo restricted, mislabelled, or subject to change without notice.
6.3 User decisions are your responsibility
Decisions made based on information presented on FlixFinder are made at your own risk. You should verify availability, pricing, and licensing directly with the relevant Third Party Service before relying on it.
6.4 Availability and regional differences
Availability and pricing can vary by country, region, device, subscription tier, and time. FlixFinder may display availability that differs from what you see on a Third Party Service due to timing, caching, or provider changes.
7. Third Party Services, links, and attribution
7.1 Third party dependencies
The Service may integrate, link to, or display Content sourced from Third Party Services. We do not control those services.
7.2 No endorsement
Links to Third Party Services do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship unless expressly stated.
7.3 Attribution
FlixFinder acknowledges and thanks the following providers, where applicable:
7.3.1 JustWatch for streaming availability data
7.3.2 The Movie Database (TMDb) for film, television, and cast metadata
7.4 Third party terms apply
Your use of Third Party Services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with them.
7.5 Third party outages and changes
We are not responsible for any Third Party Service downtime, data discontinuation, pricing changes, or API limitations that impact the Service.
8. Subscriptions, trials, pricing, and billing
8.1 Plans and features
We may offer paid plans, premium features, trials, and limited access functionality. Features may vary by plan and may change over time.
8.2 Pricing changes
We may change pricing, billing structures, feature availability, usage limits, or access tiers. Where required by law, we will provide advance notice. Where permitted by law, changes may apply immediately to new purchases and renewals.
8.3 Auto renewal
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled in accordance with the cancellation method provided at the point of purchase.
8.4 Trials
Trials may convert to paid Subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and length may vary, and we may restrict trials to one per user or one per payment method.
8.5 Taxes
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location and the manner of purchase. You are responsible for any applicable taxes not collected at purchase.
8.6 Payment processing
Payments may be processed by Third Party Services. We do not store full payment card details where a third party processor is used, but we may store billing status, subscription identifiers, and limited payment metadata required to operate the Service.
8.7 Refunds
Refunds are provided only where required by law or where explicitly stated in an applicable refund policy. If you purchase through an app store or third party platform, their refund rules apply.
8.8 Failure to pay
If payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or downgrade your Subscription, restrict features, and continue to attempt collection through available payment rails as permitted by law.
9. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
9.1 Use of cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, SDKs, and device identifiers) to operate the Service, remember preferences, improve performance, measure usage, and help protect against fraud and abuse.

11. User Content and community features
11.1 User Content ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content as between you and us, subject to the licence you grant below.
11.2 Licence to FlixFinder
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your User Content for the purposes of operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Service. This licence continues for as long as your User Content remains on the Service, and to the extent necessary after removal for legal, security, and backup purposes.
11.3 Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your User Content and warrant that:
11.3.1 you have the rights necessary to submit it
11.3.2 it does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
11.3.3 it does not contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or harmful material
11.4 Moderation and removal
We may remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content at our discretion, acting reasonably, including where we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.
11.5 Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a right to use it without restriction or compensation.
12. Intellectual property and ownership
12.1 Our IP
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, systems, designs, databases, trademarks, and proprietary features, are owned by FlixFinder or its licensors.
12.2 Licence to you
We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
12.3 Restrictions
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, lease, or exploit any part of the Service except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
12.4 Derived analytics and operational data
To the fullest extent permitted by law, operational analytics, aggregated metrics, and derived insights generated through the Service may be owned by FlixFinder, provided they do not identify you personally except as allowed by law and our Privacy Policy.
13. Service availability, changes, and experiments
13.1 Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature will remain available.
13.2 Maintenance and downtime
The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, technical faults, provider changes, or events outside our control.
13.3 Experimental features
Some features may be labelled beta, experimental, or early access. These may be unstable and may change without notice.
14. Suspension and termination
14.1 Termination by you
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a Subscription, you must cancel it via the method provided at purchase to stop renewal.
14.2 Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice where permitted by law, including if:
14.2.1 you breach these Terms
14.2.2 we suspect fraud, abuse, or security risk
14.2.3 we are required to do so by law or court order
14.2.4 continued provision becomes commercially or technically impractical
14.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete Account data and User Content subject to legal requirements and legitimate operational needs.
14.4 Survival
Sections relating to intellectual property, licences, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnities, and dispute resolution survive termination to the extent necessary.
15. Disclaimers
15.1 Service provided as is
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
15.2 No warranties
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, and availability, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law.
15.3 Third party content
We are not responsible for Third Party Services, their content, their policies, their availability, or your dealings with them.
16. Limitation of liability
16.1 Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlixFinder will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, opportunity, or business interruption arising from or relating to your use of the Service.
16.2 Cap on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the [3 / 6 / 12] months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or [AUD $100] if you have not paid us, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16.3 Consumer guarantees
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
17.1 You indemnify us
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlixFinder, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
17.1.1 your use of the Service
17.1.2 your breach of these Terms
17.1.3 your User Content
17.1.4 your violation of any law or rights of any third party
18. Complaints, takedowns, and reporting issues
